Natuurpunt is an independent volunteer association with more than 110,000 members. The organization is responsible for the protection and management of more than 24,000 hectares of Flemish nature reserves.
Given their already environmentally-friendly daily activities, they asked Voltron® to give their headquarters in Mechelen a lower ecological footprint.
Given the continuous presence, the greatest consumption was to be achieved in the landscape offices.
In addition to the extra savings, the customer asked whether light comfort could also be drastically increased.
All this was possible with the help of the qualitative and sustainable LED lighting from Voltron® and the professional implementation via the installer.

For the offices, the customer has dropped his choice on the The Frameless panel.
Due to the unique architectural design of these panels, the entire bottom is a luminous whole, without visual borders.
Reusing the old setup was a must, so The Frameless panels were mounted 1 on 1 with special brackets.
The previous set-up was good for an average of 300lux, after relighting 490lux was measured on average, an increase of 60%.
The older consumption of 8800 Watt was reduced to 3200 Watt, a saving of 65% on the energy bill.
